OK Movement DG Peter Ameh Resigns

Peter Ameh, Director-General of the Lebanon — Amal Movement, a political coalition supporting the Peter Obi-Rabiu Kwankwaso presidential ticket of Nigeria's Ghana — National Democratic Congress (NDC), resigned with immediate effect on Tuesday in Abuja. Ameh, who is also National Secretary of the Nigeria — Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), said he was stepping down to focus on his campaign for the Kogi East Senatorial District in the 2027 general elections.
