Pag-IBIG Naga housing turnover

Philippines — Pag-IBIG Fund and the City Government of Naga began turning over affordable homes to qualified city employees under the Naga City Employees' Housing Project. The project covers 576 units at BellaVita Naga in Barangay Pacol, priced at P350,000 each, financed through Pag-IBIG Housing Loans at a subsidized 3% annual interest rate for the first five years under the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program. More than 100 housing loan accounts have been taken out, with completion targeted by October. The initiative stems from a memorandum of understanding signed in mid-June, and includes a government-to-government documentation arrangement to streamline loan processing. Mayor Leni Robredo highlighted the project's role in making homeownership accessible to lower-salaried employees, with plans to extend it to teachers, uniformed personnel, and informal sector workers. Pag-IBIG CEO Marilene Acosta emphasized the collaboration with Ayala Land's BellaVita and recent MOUs with Avida Land and Amaia Land to expand housing options. The turnover coincided with Jesse Robredo Day.
