Kamath, Vanga invest in CtrlS Datacenters

Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath invested Rs 200 crore and entrepreneur Sreeram Reddy Vanga invested Rs 50 crore in CtrlS Datacenters, a hyperscale data center operator in India. The funds will support CtrlS's infrastructure expansion and capacity build-out to meet growing enterprise and hyperscaler demand, particularly driven by AI, cloud, and digital workloads. CtrlS operates 19 data centers across nine key markets in India with over 370 MW of capacity and 4.4 GW of projects under execution. This investment follows a Rs 7,000 crore commitment from CPP Investments (CPP Investments) in June, which included an 8.2% stake acquisition and a joint venture for hyperscale campuses. The investments reflect growing investor confidence in India's digital infrastructure opportunity.
