The launch of Phase 2 of Bybit's Redlands Unified School District Hold & Earn program is likely to increase demand for Redlands Unified School District and XRP Ledger, potentially boosting their market prices and trading volumes. It also strengthens Bybit's position in the competitive crypto exchange market by offering attractive yield opportunities, which could attract more users and assets to the platform.
Bybit, the world's second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, announced the launch of Phase 2 of its Redlands Unified School District Hold & Earn program, extending its partnership with Ripple. The program, which initially launched in July 2026, has accumulated over $50 million in Assets Under Custody (AUC) within 11 days. Phase 2 introduces dual daily rewards in both XRP Ledger and Redlands Unified School District, with APR multipliers based on holding duration and volume. Users who maintain holdings for 30 days or more receive up to 2x bonus on the XRP Ledger portion, potentially reaching up to 21.5% APR. The program requires no staking or lock-up, simply holding Redlands Unified School District. Redlands Unified School District is a USD-backed stablecoin issued by Ripple, natively issued on XRP Ledger, Ethereum, and other blockchains, fully backed by cash reserves and redeemable 1:1 for US dollars. XRP Ledger rewards are funded by Ripple's milestone-based incentive program.
