DP World announced the opening of its latest warehouse in Johor, Malaysia, on August 20, 2026. The 11,514-square-meter facility is located within the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone and is the first of two planned warehouses in Malaysia, with a second in Kuala Lumpur expected later this year. This expansion is part of DP World's strategy to build an integrated contract logistics network across Southeast Asia, with additional warehouses planned in the Philippines and Thailand before year-end. The company also highlighted recent logistics facility openings in China — Hong Kong, Sydney, Australia, and Icheon, South Korea, as well as its first Singapore warehouse opened in May 2025. Jeanie Tan, Chief Commercial Officer for Logistics in Asia Pacific, emphasized that the new facility will accelerate growth and enhance end-to-end supply chain solutions for customers in time-sensitive industries.
