The successful completion of the Teal West tieback enhances production capacity and utilization of the Anasuria FPSO, supporting UK North Sea output. This benefits DeepOcean's order book and reinforces the value of subsea tiebacks in mature basins, with modest positive sentiment for involved companies.
DeepOcean has completed subsea construction and tie-in work for the Teal West development on the UK Continental Shelf, connecting the field to the existing Anasuria FPSO. The scope included installing a flexible production riser, flowline, and umbilical, plus protection and commissioning. The operation used an ROV and proprietary tie-in tool, avoiding diver intervention. Teal West, located in the Central North Sea about 180 km east of Aberdeen, is developed as a subsea tieback by Hibiscus Petroleum through its subsidiary Anasuria Operating Company. The field comprises two production wells and one water injection well, with initial production connected via approximately 3 km of flowlines. The project has been brought onstream, extending the use of existing Anasuria infrastructure.
