Beldex, a privacy-focused blockchain ecosystem based in Seychelles, announced on August 20, 2026, that it raised $8 million in a new funding round to accelerate the development of its privacy infrastructure for Web3 and AI. The round was led by Two Sigma with participation from NTC, Nxgen, Digital Consensus Fund, and EAK Ventures, bringing Beldex's total funding to $36 million. The capital will be used to develop developer tools, confidential applications, AI privacy infrastructure, and expand interoperability and security. Beldex plans to launch an EVM-compatible sidechain, confidential assets, and enhance its privacy stack for AI agents. The company also aims to build bridges to Ethereum, Solana, and USDC (cryptocurrency), and continue research into Fully Homomorphic Encryption and quantum-safe technologies.
