On the night of August 18, 2026, armed attackers invaded Bin-mper (also Bin Mper) community in Kombum District, Mangu Local Government Area, Nigeria — Plateau State, Nigeria, reportedly killing 24 people, including women and children. Governor Caleb Mutfwang condemned the attack as barbaric and senseless, visited the community on August 20 to condole with residents, and acknowledged the government's failure to protect them.
