WiMi Proposes Quantum Convolutional Neural Network

WiMi Hologram Cloud Inc. announced a new quantum machine learning technology: a quantum convolutional neural network with interaction layers for classical data classification. The network introduces a novel interaction layer based on three-qubit interactions, enhancing expressive power, entanglement generation, and classification performance. It uses a hybrid quantum-classical architecture, mapping classical data into quantum states, and employs alternating quantum convolution and interaction layers. Theoretical analysis shows expanded reachable state space and improved entanglement capabilities. The company optimized training to address gradient vanishing and instability. WiMi plans to expand the model to higher-dimensional data and real quantum devices.
