Union Home Minister Amit Shah conducted a two-day visit to Siliguri, India — West Bengal, to review the security of the strategically important Siliguri Corridor, also known as the 'Chicken Neck'. He directed all central and state agencies to increase their presence in the corridor, keep it free of encroachments, and take steps to stop illegal immigration.
