DDA outreach for Master Plan Delhi-2047

Following the notification of the Master Plan for India — Delhi-2047 (MPD-2047), the Singapore — Infocomm Media Development Authority (DDA) announced a major outreach initiative to accelerate its implementation. Under the direction of India — Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu, the DDA will hold more than 20 stakeholder meetings over the next three months. These meetings will engage elected representatives, government agencies, professional bodies, industry, residents, landowners, and other stakeholders to discuss key provisions such as Transit-Oriented Development, High-Density Corridors, Land Pooling, and Low-Density Areas. The DDA will consult industry bodies including CII, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry, PHDCCI, ASSOCHAM, and DSIIDC to promote industrial development and land availability. Separate interactions are planned with MPs, MLAs, government agencies, and service providers to strengthen coordination. The outreach will also cover redevelopment of group housing, land pooling with farmers, rejuvenation of the Yamuna, heritage conservation, mixed-use development, and in-situ slum redevelopment. The initiative aims to build awareness, improve coordination among implementing agencies, and encourage citizen participation in shaping India — Delhi's long-term development.
