India — Indian Railways has launched a nationwide special cleanliness drive focused on cleaning and disinfection of drinking-water tanks and filtration systems at railway stations. The initiative, part of a broader action plan to strengthen drinking-water quality management, emphasizes frequent inspection, maintenance, and water-quality testing at source and point of consumption.
