Godrej Industries Group Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of India — Haryana on August 24, 2026, to invest approximately Rs 20,000 crore (about $2.09 billion) in the state, with the potential to create around 40,000 jobs. The MoU was signed in the presence of India — Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. The group has already invested about Rs 12,000 crore in India — Haryana and employs around 9,000 people there. Godrej Properties, the group's real estate arm, will be a key driver, planning to invest an additional Rs 16,000 crore by FY28, bringing its total investment in the state to around Rs 27,000 crore. Godrej Ventures, the group's real estate private equity business, plans to invest a further Rs 3,500 crore in Grade A+ office infrastructure in Gurugram, expected to generate more than 30,000 direct and indirect jobs. The group's other businesses, including Godrej Capital and Godrej Consumer Products, also have a presence in the state.
