On August 24, 2026, Forex.com, operated by StoneX Group — StoneX Securities Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of StoneX Group Inc. Inc., announced the launch of Japan Stock CFDs and Japan Stock CFD Knock-Out Options. This is the first and only trading platform in Japan to offer overnight trading of these products, from 5:25pm until 5:00am JST. The launch provides investors with greater flexibility to respond to corporate disclosures, overseas market movements, and other developments outside regular Japanese market hours. The products reference selected Japanese equities, including Advantest, Tokyo Electron, Kioxia, Fujikura, Hitachi, Sony, Canon, Kyocera, NTT, SoftBank Group, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Bridgestone — Bridgestone Americas, MUFG, Mizuho Financial Group, SMBC Group, Orix, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Mitsubishi Corporation, Aeon, Nintendo, Central Japan Railway Company, and Metaplanet. Japan Stock CFDs allow clients to take positions on price movements without owning the underlying shares, while Knock-Out Options incorporate a pre-set knock-out level that automatically closes the position if reached, limiting maximum loss to the option premium. The service is offered with zero commission, though spreads, financing costs, and other adjustments may apply. Johan Gade, Head of Retail - Japan, emphasized the customer-centric approach and the need to respond to market-moving information beyond domestic market hours.
