Canatu Plc, a Finnish deep technology company, announced on August 24, 2026 that it has received an order for a further CNT100 SEMI reactor from Korean semiconductor company Fine Semitech Corporation (FST). The order follows a previously announced purchase order for long-lead time items and represents the next step in their collaboration to scale production of carbon nanotube (CNT) pellicle membranes for the semiconductor industry. The total value of the reactor order, including the long-lead-time items, is classified as 'large' under Canatu's disclosure policy, corresponding to a contract value of more than EUR 5 million, excluding royalties and other recurring elements. The reactor is expected to be delivered in 2027, with revenue contribution beginning in the second half of 2026 but the majority recognized in 2027. This order builds on a series of milestones: Canatu shipped its first CNT100 SEMI reactor in September 2024, received customer approval in July 2025, and granted FST a commercial production license in October 2025. Once commercial production using the additional reactor commences, Canatu expects to generate recurring revenues through royalties and proprietary consumables. CEO Maximilian Slawinski highlighted the order as validation of Canatu's unique CNT technology and a step towards establishing CNT pellicles as a new standard in EUV semiconductor manufacturing.
