Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India's largest IT services company, announced the acquisition of MHP GmbH (MHP), the IT consulting subsidiary of German automaker Porsche, for an enterprise value of €320 million (approximately Rs 3,573 crore or $370 million). The acquisition, executed through TCS Netherlands B.V., a wholly owned subsidiary, is subject to regulatory approvals and expected to close within three to four months. Alongside the acquisition, TCS and Porsche signed a five-year strategic partnership worth €1.25 billion focused on scaling AI across Porsche's engineering, manufacturing, operations, customer experience, and enterprise transformation. TCS will establish a dedicated AI Mobility Centre of Excellence for Porsche to industrialize AI use cases and embed AI across the automaker's product and value chain. MHP, with around 4,500 employees and a turnover of €742 million in 2025, brings expertise in business consulting, digital transformation, AI, SAP, manufacturing digitalization, and connected mobility.
