NBPE Share Buyback Program
Analysis based on 7 articles · First reported Aug 27, 2026 · Last updated Sep 02, 2026
The share buybacks are likely to provide modest support to NBPE's share price by reducing the supply of shares and increasing earnings per share. The cancellation of shares reduces the company's share capital, which may be viewed positively by investors as a signal of confidence and efficient capital allocation.
NB Private Equity Partners Limited (NBPE), a listed private equity investment company, announced a series of share buyback transactions on the Aquis Stock Exchange between 26 and 1 September 2026. The buybacks were conducted under a general authority granted by shareholders on 11 June 2026 and pursuant to a share buy-back agreement with Speeds International Ltd. Over the period, NBPE repurchased a total of 195,069 Class A Shares at prices ranging from £14.75 to £15.00 per share. All repurchased shares were cancelled, reducing the number of outstanding Class A Shares from 39,512,126 to 39,347,057. The company also holds 3,150,408 Class A shares in treasury. These transactions are part of NBPE's capital management strategy to return value to shareholders.
