Jharkhand swine flu alert

On August 29, 2026, the India — Jharkhand Health Department issued an alert after eight people tested positive for H1N1 influenza (swine flu) at Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences in Ranchi. The department advised civil surgeons, medical colleges, and surveillance officials to remain vigilant, screen suspected cases, and prepare isolation wards.
