Kano Police Foil Kidnapping of Sarkin Noman

On August 29, 2026, at about 11:30 p.m., suspected bandits attacked Nigeria — Garun Mallam Town in Nigeria — Kano State, Nigeria, shooting sporadically and abducting Alhaji Yusif Nadabo, the Sarkin Noman Kano. During the attack, three residents—Yusif Nasiru, Salisu Garba, and Ibrahim Hassan—were shot and injured.
