Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations: The Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) is funding three groups, including Moderna and the University of Oxford, to accelerate the development of vaccines against the Bundibugyo strain of Ebola.

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus: Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization, has been actively involved in the response, visiting the Democratic Republic of the Congo and calling for international support and a ceasefire to contain the outbreak. He has acknowledged the challenges and the need for community trust.
