A securities fraud class action lawsuit has been filed against Veritone by Kirby McInerney LLP on behalf of investors. The lawsuit alleges that Veritone inaccurately recorded and/or misclassified certain revenue and costs, overstated its revenue, assets, accounts receivable, royalties, and other comprehensive income, and maintained deficient internal controls over accounting and financial reporting. These issues led to Veritone filing an 8-K on March 26, 2026, announcing preliminary Q4 2025 results with a wide revenue range due to accounting finalization. Subsequently, on April 1, 2026, Veritone filed a Form NT 10-K, disclosing delays in filing its Annual Report and potential out-of-period adjustments, including a reduction in Q3 2025 revenue. On April 14, 2026, Veritone further disclosed that its previously issued unaudited financial statements for Q2 and Q3 2025 should no longer be relied upon due to errors. Each of these disclosures resulted in significant declines in Veritone's stock price on Nasdaq-100.
