The license positions PMGC Holdings to enter the growing defense drone market, potentially boosting its stock. However, the technology is early-stage and commercial success is uncertain, limiting immediate market impact.
NorthStrive Defense Tech LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of PMGC Holdings Incorporated (Nasdaq: ELAB), executed a definitive exclusive license agreement with the Florida State University Research Foundation (FSURF) for U.S. Patent No. 12,291,334 covering a multi-domain drone payload technology. The license grants worldwide, sublicensable rights in aerospace and defense. A multi-year development plan includes prototype completion, non-dilutive funding applications, and first commercial sale. The agreement follows an option agreement from April 2026 and a binding term sheet from June 2026. NorthStrive also has a sponsored research agreement with FSURF to advance the technology toward a working prototype.
