Archer Aviation Inc. signed definitive agreements to acquire Boeing's subsidiaries Archer Aviation — Wisk Aero, Archer Aviation — SkyGrid, and Archer Aviation — Insitu. The deal combines capabilities in autonomy, eVTOL aircraft, and unmanned aircraft systems to create an end-to-end physical AI platform for aerospace and defense. Boeing will take an equity stake in Archer and enter a collaboration and technology-sharing arrangement, retaining access to Wisk's core autonomous flight technology.
